These photos (above and right) were taken at Hartlen’s point. This is a spot that hikers, birders and surfers alike adore. Despite the significance of this area to many communities and being a spot for over 300 migratory birds, the Canadian military (owns the land unfortunately) has decided to build a 65 million dollar testing facility.
